Hey everyone! I'm Scott and I'll be the Construction Committee Director this year. I'm a senior studying Civil Engineering, and I'm originally from Nashville, Tennessee. I got involved in Habitat my junior year going to builds and concessions and have loved it ever since! Outside of Habitat I'm also a part of the University's Steel Bridge Team, and I enjoy playing sports with friends. Feel free to talk to me at builds or meetings or anywhere else you see me!

Hi Everyone, My name is Greg Stroot and I am a Junior in Mechanical Engineering. I first joined Habitat last year and was first introduced through it from my cousin, who runs the chapter at Western Kentucky University. Outside of Habitat, I enjoy hiking, biking, flow arts, math, and pretty much anything outside

What Does This Committee Do?

A typical build day is from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM on Saturday. Transportation is provided to and from the Union, and all tools are provided. No construction experience is necessary - a construction manager from the County Chapter and our own student Steering Coordinator, as well as volunteer skilled team leaders, are always present to provide instructions and guidance. Building is a great way to get involved in the heart of Habitat's work.
